2 Corinthians 12:9-10
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Do you ever feel tired of seeing loved ones downcast, robbed, distracted, settling, and ultimately discouraged, unfulfilled, and perplexed by what God wants for their lives? I have some awesome, mighty friends who love Jesus. But in the spiritual realm, they have come into agreement with a liar, a defeated enemy who uses every tool to keep them from living out their God-ordained purpose. “Unqualified” is a false mindset intended to keep you on the sidelines of your faith. Let’s remind the enemy who we serve: the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, and the Creator. He’s an all-present, all-powerful, and all-knowing Savior.
God flipped the script by choosing to use the “unqualified” to work out His plan. David, a small boy, defeated a mighty giant. Moses stuttered. Abraham and Sarah became parents in their old age. Daniel survived a lion. Jonah, a man on the run from God’s plan, lived on through his testimony in the belly of a fish! So wherever you are in your walk, God can use you… but so can the enemy. It’s up to you to fight! Do not give one more day to an enemy who came to steal, kill, and destroy everything in your life. Instead, take up your cross in every area of life in which you are gifted, purposed, and passionate to see how God can use you. If you are stuck, start with loving God and loving people.
Thought of the day: You aren’t powerful enough to mess up what God has planned.
Prayer: Thank You, God, for choosing to use me not in my perfection, but in Your perfection. Help me to uncover the passions in my life. God, give me courage and boldness to armor up and charge the gates of Hell to redirect traffic by the power of my testimony! Deliver me from anything holding me back from walking more fully with you. In Jesus’ name, amen.
